What makes you different?

Have you ever sat down and made a list of what makes you different than your competitors?

I encourage everyone to take a break from everything and spend some time making a list of all the positive elements that make up who you are and what your clients/customers will receive.  Once you have made this list, you need to start putting together a marketing plan for Social Media, on how to showcase this.  Will it be through pictures, videos, what you write in posts?  Determine how this will impact your potential clients, how they will perceive you, how this will make you stand out against your competitors.

If you don’t know what your positive qualities are, then how can you build a business?  It is not just about sales, it is about selling yourself.  People purchase/support from people they like, know and trust and you NEED to embrace that.

How am I different than my competitors, what are my positive elements?

  • Energetic
  • Fun
  • Knowledgeable
  • Networker
  • Inspiring
  • Motivator
  • Positive Thinker
  • Creative

I utilize ALL of these elements when I am working with Social Media, I show everyone ME and I KNOW it has made a difference in building my business.  So GO FOR IT!!

Tammy Hudgin spent the last nine years working her direct sales business (no longer involved with direct sales as the company closed their doors) on Facebook and embraced all the elements that were available to her. One of the most valuable tools that she learned was that you need to sell yourself before you can sell your business. She launched her Facebook Social Media business over five years ago and has trained over 500 business owners on how to work Facebook to build a presence and get their business out there. Tammy helps additional clients by managing their business pages and offering business page creation/revamp, along with consultations. Tammy has been a guest speaker for Rogers TV (4 shows have been pre-recorded), spoken at Annual Conferences, Networking Meetings, nominated for 6 business awards, and has been interviewed on 3 radio blogs. She embraces everything she learns from those she meets, she continues to be inspired by other business women and looks forward to building more relationships.
